Richard Brown is vice president of American Express and is responsible for looking over the company’s philanthropic giving. Brown has had much past experience with Corporate Philanthropy. In 2001, he was the Vice President of Philanthropy for Toys R Us and later moved on to be AT&T Wirelesses’ Director of Corporate Philanthropy. In 2006, he joined the Goldman Sachs Foundation as Corporate Secretary. Shortly afterwards, he joined American Express where he has been for over 2 years expressing the importance of Corporate Responsibility. Brown received his BA in Anthropology from Syracuse University. Later on, he received his MS in Organizational Change Management from New School University. |
