Alan Khazei is Founder and CEO of “Be the Change,” an organization committed to building broad-based non- partisan citizen support for systemic solutions to our nation’s problems. In 1988, he Co- founded and served as CEO of City Year and organization which today involves more than 1,200 young adults, in 16 communities across America and in Johannesburg South Africa in a full year of community service, civic engagement. An honors graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School, Mr. Khazei has received numerous awards for service including Reebok Human Rights Award and the Caring Institute Award.
