The Concord Review
Since 1987, The Concord Review has been the only academic journal in the world for the history research papers of high school students. Our goal is to encourage the reading, discussion, writing, and enjoyment of history (ancient or modern, domestic or foreign) among high school students and their teachers.
Achievements
We have published 682 papers in 62 quarterly issues, by students from 34 countries (including from 44 states in the U.S.) in the last 18 years. In 1998 we started the
National Writing Board, to provide an independent assessment of the history papers of high school students. This service is now endorsed by 35 colleges, including Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Michigan, Notre Dame, and the University of Virginia. In 2002 we started the National History
Club, now with 157 chapters at secondary schools in 35 states, with more than 4,600 members.
