Abilities Network

The philosophy of Abilities Network is inclusion. We strongly believe that people of all abilities need to be included in their communities in all aspects of life. We provide services to children and adults of all ages, with a variety of disabilities and challenges, including, but not limited to, epilepsy, autism, Down's Syndrome, mental retardation, cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, muscular dystrophy, and spina bifida, as well as social, emotional, and learning disabilities.

Mission

The mission of Abilities Network is to assist individuals of all abilities and their families in achieving their personal goals and in reaching their maximum potential. Services are tailored to support each person to live, work, socialize and to encourage the highest level of participation of each person in his/her community. We provide one-on-one, individually tailored services to people throughout Maryland and Washington D.C.

The Abilities Network goals are tied to our mission and philosophy. We seek to achieve the individual and personal goals of each person and family we serve. Secondly, we seek to deliver services that increase the levels of inclusion of that person in his/her community in all aspects of life(work, study, live, play, socialize, be a citizen). By doing this we seek to build stronger and more diverse communities where members interact fully and positively with each other.
