Mission
The mission of The E-Volve Foundation is to identify, support and promote open source technology efforts that provide opportunities for people to participate in democratic processes.
We are capitalizing on the remarkable and dizzying improvements in technology by finding great ideas for communities who have previously not engaged online, and to enable people to participate in discussions about issues, to organize, communicate with one another, join together with a common voice, and work towards a cleaner, healthier, more just world.
The E-Volve Foundation is successful in a world where: many people with good ideas and intentions come together to form spurs the creation of broad-based and successful public policies that result in healthier and more sustainable communities; all people are welcome and actively encouraged to participate in policy discussions, to learn more on their own and engage in discussions with people across geographic, political, ideological, religious, economic barriers;
communications and information technology are not barriers but accessible vehicles for involving people to level the playing field for ever widening circles of involved and active people.
